£913.00 £821.70 excl. VAT £986.04 inc. VATThe PL303QMD bench power supply not only provides dual PL303 power supplies within the same unit but also offers four different modes of functioning. These allow for independent or true parallel operation along with isolated and isolated ratio tracking. From a 3U sized quarter rack, up to 90 watts can be supplied by the linear regulated bench power supply.
The density of power available therefore is a highly competitive option compared to other workbench power supplies, with the option to install up to four units within a single slot of a rack-mounted application if required.
The PL series power supplies, although small, operate with very little heat generation making them far more energy efficient than other linear regulation power supplies.
Independent operation can be achieved with both outputs being isolated and entirely independent of one another as opposed to true parallel where all electricity is directed to the master output channel. In parallel mode, the PL303QMD switches to functioning as a single power supply operating at 180 watts.
Isolated tracking mode is similar to independent mode where both outputs are separate from each other but where the voltage can be controlled by and matched to the master output. Isolated ratio tracking is the same as isolated tracking but where the slave output can be controlled as a percentage of the master voltage remaining accurately in that same ratio even if the master voltage fluctuates.
