The Megger DET14C improves access to earth cables and straps thanks to its elliptical clamp shape. It measures ground resistance from 0.05 Ω to 1500 Ω and true RMS ground leakage current from 0.5mA to 35A RMS. It comes with a backlit LCD display and has memory to record and view results on the device. Test results can be date and time stamped as the tester has a real time clock.
The DET14C has flat core ends to prevent build-up of dirt and to ensure accurate and reliable results. The earth resistance clamp can be used for testing in the following applications: buildings, pylons and RF transmitter sites without disconnecting the system.
