£2,280.00 excl. VAT £2,736.00 inc. VATThe 5069 Insulation Tester Calibrator is a portable and precise piece of electrical test equipment suitable for calibrating and testing any general-purpose insulation tester.
The instrument calibration system tests voltages up to 10kV, 9kV operating and has an insulation resistance of 100kΩ to 100GΩ.
The insulation resistance is simulated by a precision 4 dial decade resistance bank which can be set to a maximum of 100G ohms with a resolution of 10M ohms.
The resistance bank in the tester and calibrator supplies extra resistance values of 100kΩ, 200kΩ, 500kΩ, 1MΩ, 2MΩ and 5MΩ. These can be switched in or out as necessary.
It is powered by a 6v rechargeable NiCad battery that can last over 150 hours between charges which provides portable ease when moving from site to site.
The casing is manufactured from highly durable copolymer plastic which is not only hard-wearing but also provides complete isolation from the mains and prevents any leakage.
The tester’s open-circuit voltage and short circuit current can be displayed on the digital meter which is found on the front panel.
The safety connectors are fully shrouded and offer a continuous connection with no arcing.
This calibrator for insulation testers provides highly accurate results to within 1% of the setting for testing resistance and to within 1% of the reading for current and voltage tests.
