It assesses condition severity using text-based alerts, and exports and trends data using built-in templates. One of the key features and benefits of these Fluke meters is their innovative sensor design which minimizes measurement variations caused by device angle or contact pressure. There is a four-level security scale that assesses the urgency of problems for overall vibration and bearing conditions.
The electronic measuring device monitors at both low and high-frequency ranges and maintains consistent data quality. The data can be exported via a USB and trending can be seen in Microsoft® Excel using built-in templates. The Fluke meters store data and machine ID and export them to excel for data trending. The onboard memory of the vibration meter holds up to 3,500 measurements at a time.
The Fluke 805 vibration meter has an overall vibration measurement scale of 10 Hz to 1,000 Hz for the units of measurements for acceleration, velocity, and displacement and for a wide variety of machines. Crest Factor+ technology provides reliable bearing assessment using direct sensor tip measurements between 4,000 Hz and 20,000 Hz.
The green and red coloured lighting system and on-screen comments indicate how much pressure needs to be applied to take correct measurements. The electrical measuring equipment has an infrared temperature sensor which further increases its diagnostic capabilities.
