Universal Block Joint Shunt & Insulated Rail Joint Tester

The Universal Block Joint Tester is a versatile railway shunt tester designed for block joint, dry cell, and earth leakage testing. Also known as an insulated rail joint tester, it provides multiple resistance options in one compact unit.

Key Features

  • 1 common connector plug
  • 3 independent resistance sockets:
    • 1 ohm (1Ω) – for Dry Cell Testing
    • 220 ohm (220Ω) – for Block Joint Testing
    • 47k ohm (47kΩ) – for Earth Leakage Testing

This multi-function tester allows railway engineers to carry out several essential signalling and track circuit tests using a single device, improving efficiency on site.
