Dual-Purpose AMP 525690 Crimping and Splicing Tool

The Red Handle Crimping Tool (39/008126) is a dual-purpose AMP 525690 tool designed for crimping PIDG terminals and splicing standard copper wires sized 20 to 18 AWG/mm². Its balanced pressure grip and bright red insulated handles provide a comfortable, fatigue-reducing user experience and make the tool easy to locate on site.

A copper sleeve fitted over the tin-plated body protects the tool during use, while the pre-insulated design allows for safe connections even in high conductivity applications. The tool distributes pressure evenly across the crimped area and features a ratchet mechanism, ensuring the crimp cycle is complete before release, resulting in consistent, reliable crimps.
