The versatile Baumer hollow encoder has a small profile depth and uses optical sensing to function, which gives incredibly precise results because of the counts per revolution. With the Baumer encoder providing a maximum resolution of 3600ppr, it is great for use with medical and office equipment or any other devices where precision is important.
The Baumer hollow shaft is 12mm (about 0.47 in) in diameter and the device has an operating temperature of -20 to +85 °C. The hollow encoder is connected via the cable which is included. This piece of equipment offers a simple, small profile design which makes the hollow shaft encoder compact yet robust.
