This 16 amp RCD railway tool provides protection from overloads and short circuits, offering peace of mind and a high level of safety. Designed to detect faulty currents, the RCD works to prevent injury from electric shock, and also to protect devices from overloading, tripping and fires caused by electrical faults. The RCD can detect even the smallest current which can’t always be achieved with other devices.
It constantly monitors the current which is supplying a circuit or piece of equipment. It can detect when an earth leakage occurs and automatically cuts off the power to prevent any injury or damage. The FDB11 is housed in a hard-wearing steel enclosure and is designed for both commercial and light industrial use. It has solid state electronic circuitry, a 16 amp rating and a 20mA tripping current.
