The Pulse Integrator adaptor is required for the measurement of the transmitted pulses on HVI track circuits.
The adaptor is used with a Digital Multimeter set to DC voltages and normally on the Auto range.
Care should be taken with the old version (reference 86/043906) after usage; the adaptor stores a high DC voltage which should be dissipated correctly. The new TKL1170 HVI Shunt has been developed for this purpose.
The Pulse Integrator is used in conjunction with a standard multimeter to measure the positive and negative peakvoltages of High Voltage Impulse Track Circuits. A front panel LED indicates the presence of a peak voltage, and voltages are temporarily held for verification.
