The Vista SmartDisc digital video recorder features 10 channels and allows up to six users to be connected at any one time. It is used for many types of remote monitoring, from retail outlets to car parks and railway stations, and has built-in long term digital recording which saves images to the internal hard drive. The HT Compress feature creates smaller file sizes for remote viewing and transmission, and the system supports a removable hard drive up to 320Gb if additional space is necessary.
The VIsta SmartDisc allows up to six users to be connected: 4 by IP, 1 by ISDN and 1 via a serial connection (GSM, PSTN or ISDN modem). It can also be connected to a PDA, PC or Smartphone. It includes SmartControl monitoring software and is compatible for use with all Smart Control and EMS software packages. Another useful feature is the PTZ/dome cameras, which allow voice warnings and two-way audio communication.
