The LV50 is also intrinsically safe (ATEX approved), making it an essential 'life-saver' testing tool for utility engineers as well as for use in hazardous areas such as chemical plants, oil refineries and offshore rigs.
Used as a safety device to make sure metallic surfaces, pipework and cables are safe from potentially lethal voltages.
